Totally Non-Technical Software Review : RealBasic Related Resources
REALbasic: Really, Really Easy Programing
for Real People who use Real Macintoshes.

Yeah, all right, it's a really corny title for a review. I get corny when I try to sing praises. But the product is grand. If you are a Mac user and want to learn to program REALbasic is it. Start here. It isn't as easy as crayons and a coloring book, but even my Mom could learn programing with this. But wait! It's more than simply simple -- it's functionally sophicated. The software you produce will functionally rival C++ programs. Yet they'll be a lot easier to produce and give you many fewer headaches.

I've had Macs since they were first born. I loved HyperCard and SuperCard, and had great hopes for their further serious development. But REALbasic gives you real power, real compiling of code rather than scripts that run on engines. And it's just as easy to learn. Moreover, it will program for Mac OS and for Windows, so you can produce for both markets. Even more exciting is a 3D graphics engine that will help in producing games. Doesn't everyone want to make a game?

Please go get REALbasic. It will make you a happier person and the world a better place.
