Review of Success At Life

by Ron Rubin and Stuart Avery Gold
Review By C.S. Clarke, Ph.D.

In their first offering of Zentrepreneurial wisdom, Success At Life, Ron Rubin and Stuart Avery Gold have distilled the essentials of ancient philosophies, mixed them generously with their own experiences and brewed them into a reader-friendly concoction that should be just your cup of tea if you're looking for some inspiration and encouragement.

Their style is conversational, easy-going and warm. Reading their book seemd like sitting down with a couple of good friends -- who just happen to be sages -- at their kitchen table and having a good chat. But it's the kind of chat you later realize imparted some of the secrets of life.

I highly recommend this book as a guide to finding "right livelihood" and the underpinnings of success and achievement in life and work.
About the authors of Success At Life:
Ron Rubin and Stuart Avery Gold call themselves "Ministers" of The Republic of Tea. Rather than speak of their organization as a corporation or company, they have created a metaphoric independent state whose employees are "ministers," whose store outlets are "embassies" and whose salespeople are "ambassadors." Their state seems to be founded upon princples drawn from Zen and good entrepreneurial business sense, with a few other ideas thrown in for good measure.
