What is superperformance?
by C.S. Clarke, Ph.D.
What is superperformance?
I always thought the concept of superperformance was inherent in the
word itself. But a number of people have asked what I mean by it
and why I chose it to brand my website. So here it is:
The superperformance concept arises from the combination of the words
"super" and "performance" to create the idea of exceptional,
extrodinary, excellent or superior ability, accomplishment,
achievement, functioning, productivity, proficiency and/or skill.
This definition applies to both organizations and individuals.
What is superperformance.com?
The function of superperformance.com is to provide resources to achieve
better performance and, I hope, even "superperformance" (excellence in
human performance and achievement) to organizations and individuals who
are seeking
performance improvement in any of their activities or interests.
Since most people who seek performance improvement are interested in it
for business, professional, career and employment reasons or for
educational performance issues, I provide more resources in those
subjects than any other. However, there are still many articles,
links, reviews and products for personal growth and achievement
available here.
The performance improvement resources I provide include, among other publications, products and services: articles, link directories, book reviews, product reviews,
software reviews, ebooks, books, training manuals, workbook-journals, structured journals,
motivational posters, motivational screensavers, performance
improvement software, off-the-shelf and customized workshop and seminar packages, and coaching and training programs. These publications and products may be delivered in electronic or print form, depending upon the publication or product. Some services, such as training programs or coaching, may be delivered face-to-face or by telephone, in real time.
The main directory for finding performance improvement resources and "superperformance" information is on the home page: Superperformance.com: Human Performance and Achievement Resources. |
